Brute force attack is an automated and simplest method to gain access to a system. An attacker checks & tries different combination of all possible usernames & passwords  over and over again until the correct one is found.

Brute force attack can be use to decrypt any encrypted data or crack a password protected account.

Similarly a Dictionary attack is a method to crack passwords of a password protected system by applying each & every word in a dictionary as password.

A Brute Force or Dictionary attack can easily crack passwords if a user using ordinary words or only numbers as passwords..

Users should use combinations of uppercase and lowercase latters mixed up with numerals.. You can also try password strength checking application programs to to test your password’s strength..
There are severals & thousands of applications programs & wordlists available by which we can easily Brute Force but attacking someones system without their permission is Un-ethical & Crime ..
